JH Hats Have You Covered!

2025- It’s here, I think.

With my daughter being out of school for three weeks over the holidays and then another week for the snow, I feel like January has been rocking and rolling without me!

So, what is on the horizon for JH Hats, you ask? Well, I am absolutely thrilled to announce that I am planning to have a booth at the enchanting Eastern North Carolina Renaissance Faire! In preparation for this magical event, I am currently working on creating flower crowns for all the whimsical fairies that will be in attendance. April 12 and 13 in Kinston, NC.

I attended a headband workshop at Cocoon Gallery in Apex, NC, taught by Katie Allen from Lifted Millinery. I had fun learning with other hat makers! I'm still working on the headband and have already spent 5 hours on it!

The gallery is an absolute must-visit destination if you happen to find yourself in the charming town of Apex. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that many talented artists were represented there, some of whom I recognized from my time living in Raleigh two decades ago! It felt like stepping back in time, as if my history was beautifully conveyed through the art on display.
