What’s New?

I will be teaching art lessons at Art House here in New Bern, NC. Art House has many classes for preschool and school aged children. I will be teaching Creating With Stitch on Wednesdays and Afterschool and Homeschool artists on Tuesdays and Fridays. Spread the word, it’s going to be fun!

This month I’ve been reorganizing the studio. I’m getting an early start on preparing for my open studio on November 1st and 2nd. This will also prepare me for the switch to felt hats. I begin the fall collection in September! It’s a daunting chore but will be well worth it. I’ve gotten to the point where I need to go through all of the ribbons and trimmings I’ve collected. It will be so nice to have everything sorted for easy use!

We stepped away from a busy life to reclaim time with one another, and our family. Our slower-paced, simple life surrounded by nature is a reminder that enough is a feast. When not in the studio, you’ll likely find us sailing with our boys, Dylan & Wes. Visit us in person at the Olde Beaufort Farmer's Market on Saturday!
