I am so excited to announce that I have been accepted into the Milliner’s Guild!

The Milliners Guild, Inc is a not-for-profit organization of milliners, small business owners, and students who specialize in the design and production of handmade headwear. The group is committed to increasing the public profile of millinery as well as the public's awareness and interest in millinery products.

The hats below are currently hanging in a showing of my work at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of New Bern. I am so grateful for the support I receive from the members at UUF. If you see one you like, these will be going into CAGS early fall!

OTHER ART NEWS

In the Main Gallery of the Bank of the Arts, the Craven Arts Council is featuring a fashion exhibit in August.

The fashion exhibit will feature the works of East Carolina University’s School of Interior Design and Merchandising professors, organized by Jesus Nieves.

In early July, I lead a papier mache’ workshop at Art House. Here are some of the amazing birds created by the teens who attended.
